The Level 2 International Award in Emergency First Aid at Work is a qualification aimed at providing learners with the necessary knowledge, understanding and skills to support emergency first aid in the workplace. The HABC Level 2 International Award in Emergency First Aid at Work is accredited and recognized internationally and has been developed to protect customers, brand reputation and profits. Many People are often reluctant to administer First Aid treatment because of the fear that they may face legal action if they do something wrong. If you stay within the boundaries of your first aid training you cannot be held legally responsible for any adverse outcome.
This qualification has been developed specifically for those who wish to become an emergency first-aider and use a defibrillator.
This international qualification would be typically delivered to learners through a 1-day training course (8 hours).
Topics covered include basic emergency first aid, major bleed control, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of automated external defibrillators and managing a choking casualty.
This qualification can be assessed by a practical demonstration and written/oral questioning.
Successful candidates will be awarded by a certificate titled “Highfields Level 2 International Award in Emergency First Aid, Defibrillation and CPR“.
